Up, Up, and Away!

Almost everyone in our group got to do one big activity while in Hawaii. (The pregnant people and little kids missed out.) "The Guys" went scuba diving, "the kids" did surfing lessons, and "the girls" were going para-sailing. When we made plans, Cassi and I were going to be partners, since we were the only girls who were able to go para-sailing. Plans changed when Cassi announced her pregnancy . . . since I was the only girl left, and Cheryl didn't want to join me, Ryan got a bonus activity and got to go para-sailing with me.

Scott (Grandpa) came over to the condo and supervised quiet time for Joshua and Elizabeth. Benjamin and Nathan hung out with their cousins. It was so nice to have some time together as just the two of us!

(Ryan has lost about 35 pounds since last August . . . doesn't he look good?!)

The line that we were on was 1200 feet. Wow! We were high! It was amazing to see the blue water below us and the island from a new perspective. You would think it would be loud and windy when you are basically a kite tied on to the back of a boat, but it is really calm and peaceful up there.

these were taken as we were leaving the boat and going up

Thanks, Scott and Cheryl, for the fun adventure! We loved it!
