Surfing Adventures

Nathan and Benjamin got to take surfing lessons one afternoon. (Joshua could've gone, but didn't want to.) Ryan and Joshua went with them to watch, and I stayed behind for Elizabeth's naptime. Since I wasn't there, it is hard for me to write about the afternoon, so I asked the boys for their take:

Benjamin:
"Blake and I traded teachers. The teacher was on the back and I was on the front, and I stood up by myself. It felt kind of wobbly, but it felt good. If I stood up for too long, then I would kind of just wipe out. But my head never went under the ocean when I wiped out."

Nathan: I couldn't get Nathan to write. I do know that on our trip 3 years ago, Nathan surfed with the instructor on his board. This time he got to be on the board by himself with an instructor nearby. He did well and had a lot of fun!
