The Myers know how to throw a party! Thanks to them and the other families who planned such a fun evening! We started with the children's bike parade:
lining up

Nathan covered his handle bars with star ribbon and also put it through the spokes

Benjamin spent a lot of time decorating his bike exactly how he wanted it

Joshua had decorated his bike, but then got shy when it was time to start the parade. So he and Elizabeth sat it out and helped me take pictures.
We ate dinner, but that didn't last too long for some. Benjamin is usually a great eater, but I think this time he only ate a few bites before he was back over at the bounce house and dunk tank.
Elizabeth waiting for us to come sit down on the blanket for dinner

There were fun relay games, followed by water balloon volleyball for the adults and then a LARGE water balloon fight. The Myers spent all week filling balloons and even had a lot of the youth fill more up the morning of the party. I think there were 2000 balloons!

I spent a lot of the evening helping Katie with the snow cone machine. Thanks to Andrea -- I stole this picture off her blog since I didn't have any evidence of my own to show you :) The blue syrup was temperamental and I got it all over my hands, the table, the floor, etc; but it was a fun mess!
The Moss family provided a soft-serve ice cream machine with cones, and then a popcorn machine when it was time for the fireworks. Wow!
We live in such a great neighborhood! What a great way to kick of the July 4th weekend!

It was so fun! Thanks for all your hard work, Jennifer!
So we leave for a few days and suddenly I'm WAY behind on reading peoples blogs:). I love the banner you made! That's a great idea for decoration. I was thinking of making one for birthdays, but it would be nice for holidays too! And, the fridge looks like it's perfect for the space.
WOW!!!! Please tell me if you ever have a house for sale in your neighborhood! :) What a fun time!
