For her birthday cake, I tried my best to convince her to have a Rapunzel cake. Target has a Barbie cake on display, and I pointed it out to her one day. We could make it look similar, but with a purple dress and Rapunzel for the doll. She wouldn't have it! Even though she has no clue who Barbie is, she insisted on having a Barbie cake. So that is what she got :) This was my first time making and working with fondant. It's not worthy for Food Network or anything, but I'm happy with how it all turned out!
I think she likes it!
Elizabeth also got a bike for her birthday. When she opened presents, it was still in the box. So after Elizabeth went to bed for the night, Ryan assembled the bike. His sister called while he was working, and I thought it was so funny and amazing that he could keep on working one-handed!
