Entering Anaheim

Today we flew to Anaheim for a week-long Disneyland trip! Last time we flew to Disneyland, we had read the flight times wrong and missed our flight and spent many hours waiting at the airport. We wanted to make sure that didn't happen this time, so we triple-checked everything and left with plenty of time :)

After taking a shuttle and checking in at the hotel, it was time for dinner. We wandered through Downtown Disney and decided upon the Rainforest Cafe. Although we weren't seated inside where most of the "rainforest" is located, we enjoyed the atmosphere. It felt like we were sitting outside an Aztec temple! While we were waiting for our food, we took turns wandering around inside, looking at the animals in the rainforest.

After dinner we found the Lego store. In the month leading up to our trip, all three boys have been working hard on scouts and piano to earn spending money for a Disneyland souvenir. They all have been planning that they will look around Disneyland, but they will probably spend their money at the Lego store. After going in the store tonight, they were upset that we were making them wait until the end of the trip to buy something! I think Benjamin wanted to buy a Lego set and bring it back to the hotel and play all night!
