Stadium of Fire: An American Saturday Night!

I have been so excited for Stadium of Fire this year ever since I learned that Brad Paisley was the headliner! So even though we would've gone anyway, I pretended it was an extension of my birthday weekend that we got to go to the concert this year :)

We left Elizabeth at home with a babysitter so she could sleep and we could enjoy the event! The boys had been so grumpy all afternoon (still not caught up on sleep from our trip plus a late night at Man Camp the night before), that I started wishing we'd left them with the babysitter, too!

It was hot and sunny waiting for the show to begin, but once we all got snow cones and the sun started to go down, the grumpies subsided and we had a great evening together.

Benjamin loves to make Rockband guitar moves anytime he hears a rock song -- he really gets into it!

Here are the highlights of the show:

Several sky divers landed in the stadium
David Archuletta did a beautiful patriotic medley

the flyover never gets old!
David Archuletta performed about 4 songs

We got out some glow-stick bracelets when it got darker
Of course Brad Paisley was AMAZING! I counted at least 5 different guitars, and he probably did about a dozen songs. He definitely deserves his title of Country Music's Entertainer of the Year!
