Backyard florist

I do not have a knack for gardening, but I am trying. My vegetable garden is doing okay but not great right now. I still have a lot to learn!


I am so glad that roses are resilient -- no gardening experience required! We have 4 bushes, and 2 of them started blooming this week.


It is one of my favorite things about summer -- I can cut the buds and bring them inside to enjoy at my kitchen table. Between the 4 bushes, I can have fresh flowers most of the summer!


And they are so beautiful!
