During church I had to step out into the foyer with Elizabeth. After a while she settled down and I took her back into the chapel. As we were walking in, I watched Nathan stand up and walk up to the pulpit.
He pulled out a piece of paper and read his testimony (he wrote it while I was out in the foyer):
"I just wanted to come up and say how greatful I am for the creation of the Earth and that we can live with Hevenly Father agin. I'm greatful that the true church is on the Earth today and that we are in it. I know that the scriptchers are true and that if we are not shure and we pray sinserly he will tell us they're true."
My heart was touched! It is a sweet moment when you get to see that your child is developing a testimony and is internalizing the things you are teaching!
I asked him later what made him decide to go up and share his testimony. He responded: "It felt like the right thing to do."
Priceless!

Those are the moments that make parenthood so worthwhile...thx for a fun evening.
What a special moment! I love seeing kids get up and bear their testimonies, they are so simple and sincere! What a great example to us all!
