Party Like It's 1999!

Luckily, our car trouble was the only problem we had on our anniversary vacation. We got to Anaheim Sunday evening, found dinner, and settled into the hotel. Monday morning we got up bright and early to head into Disneyland. I guess that says a lot about how much we like Disneyland, that we are willing to give up our only opportunity of sleeping in so we can spend more time in the park!

Of course one of the first things we did was head to Astro Blasters so Ryan could get on the score board (DRP #3 score!). I think we went 3 times in a row, and he got on the board every time! It was cool to ride in the car with him and learn the tricks on the ride.

Throughout the week we loved being able to spend time together, ride all the big rides, go on some of the obscure things we don't do much (or at all) with the kids, and even eat ice cream for dinner! We love our kids very much, but we LOVED having a break!

On the Mark Twain. I think the last time I went on the boat was when I was a teenager!

We went to the museum on Main Street titled, "Disneyland Day One." It was so amazing to see the original concepts of the park and some of the things that were there at the beginning that aren't there now.

Having fun at the store

We couldn't quite escape ALL the technology for the entire time

Don't crash!

We went to the Animation Studio in California Adventure. They taught us step-by-step how to draw a character.

Getting on the Omnibus -- the double-decker bus that travels up and down Main Street. Again, we enjoyed doing something we've never ever done.

You know that restaurant you pass at the beginning of the "Pirates"? The Blue Bayou. We got to eat there -- so fun!

California Adventure has a new nighttime water show -- World of Color. AMAZING!
Yes, we really did eat ice cream for dinner one night! We went to the Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor on Main Street -- delicious. Did you know it was there? We didn't until recently, and we've been to Disneyland a lot! Ryan didn't have 2, he's just holding mine :)

On the Ferris Wheel at California Adventure.

10+ great years, with many many more to come!
