Pirate Prize

Back in January, we started a warm fuzzy jar. We were really good at using this reward system for the first month or two. But then we tapered off and used it mostly on Sundays for being good at church. It took a while, but we finally filled up the jar. Our prize was to go to Pirate Island for the first time.

We had such a great time! We loved how the atmosphere looked a lot like you were in the Pirates of the Caribbean ride at Disneyland. It was fun to have the combination of both a sit-down restaurant and also an arcade to play in -- easy way to keep the kids occupied while waiting for the food to be served :)

4:00 on a Saturday is a great time to go . . . hardly anyone was there. But the balloon man was there! We will definitely have to come back when the cousins come to visit this summer!
